A cop testified that the guy Shebeshxt allegedly shot stayed in a coma for four days and remains stuck in the hospital after the Polokwane incident. The investigating officer confirmed the musician never bothered getting a firearm license and said fans in a Nissan tried greeting him before things went sideways on Witklip Street in Ladanna.
The officer explained that Shebeshxt got aggressive when people showed him respect, then pulled out a weapon and fired through a rear window. The bullet went through a headrest before hitting somebody in the face. Police never found the gun, and database checks showed he never applied for any license.
The rapper wants bail set at R50,000 and claims he supports his jobless family, but prosecutors are fighting his release. Some complainants showed up at the station wanting to drop their statements, though the case is moving forward anyway.
