Bashundhara Shuvosangho's Sirajganj district branch conducted an introductory meeting and distributed sewing machines Thursday at a local restaurant. The organization provided equipment to disadvantaged women and students to help them achieve financial independence through self-employment. Multiple speakers emphasized how such programs create hope and transform lives while building humanitarian movements within communities. District president Dr SM Kamrul Hasan Murad led the gathering while pharmacist Abul Kalam Azad addressed participants.
Local journalists and organization officials attended the event to witness the distribution ceremony. Vice-president Asha Sarkar joined general secretary Ashkarul Haque and other executive members during the proceedings. Attendees noted that the initiative would encourage young people to participate in social welfare activities. The program created an inspiring environment that demonstrated the power of community support.
