SSL launches AI-powered autoSeries plug-ins with 4K console DNA

SSL partnered with an AI developer for a new set of smart mixing plugins. Their autoSeries includes autoEQ, autoDYN, and autoBUS, combining Sonible's machine learning with classic four thousand series console emulations. These tools analyze your audio's spectral and dynamic content to suggest starting points for processing. Each plugin offers editable parameters based on the detected instrument or genre, streamlining the initial setup.

AutoEQ models the E series channel strip equalizer. It applies authentic four thousand E console curves while using AI to recommend frequency adjustments. Users can select adaptive profiles matched to specific sources for an immediate tonal starting point. This provides a fast way to apply musical equalization.

AutoDYN handles dynamics by emulating the same console's compressor, gate, and expander. Its analysis suggests tailored settings for sources like kick drums, snares, or vocals. The plugin learns from the input signal to offer intelligent recommendations for compression and gating. It integrates with the other series plugins for consistent channel processing.

AutoBUS is based on the G series bus compressor for mix groups. It analyzes the audio to recommend compression settings suited for a full mix, vocal bus, or drum subgroup. This aims to provide an optimal starting point for glue and punch on instrument groups or the master channel. The tool focuses on bus compression derived from classic hardware.

All three plugins are available for individual purchase at a reduced introductory price. A bundle containing the entire series is also offered at a discount. The tools are included within the company's total access subscription service. These introductory discounts are available for a limited period.
