Terminator - Survivors ditches co-op, delays to 2026

Terminator: Survivors has been delayed again and has completely changed its format. Developer Nacon Studio Milan announced the game will not arrive in 2025, missing its revised release window. More significantly, the title is dropping its planned cooperative multiplayer component to become a strictly single-player experience.

The studio also shifted its release strategy, abandoning an early access launch. The game will now debut in a full 1.0 state sometime in 2026. In a Steam post, the developers stated this decision came after internal testing and fan feedback, aiming for a more authentic and polished open-world Terminator game.

This major pivot late in development is unusual. The announcement follows a long silence about the project this year. While another Terminator title just launched recently, the focus now is on how this overhauled, single-player version of Survivors will be received whenever it eventually arrives.
