Tiny YO1 PC Crushes AI with 128GB RAM

PELADN just released its smallest but most powerful computer ever. The Chinese company packed its YO1 Mini PC with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip. This tiny machine can handle heavy AI tasks better than its older models. The company skipped earlier chip options for this top-tier Zen 5 processor. Users can add up to 128 GB of memory to this small device.

Most people might think 128 GB of memory seems like overkill, but this extra capacity helps the computer run complex AI programs faster. The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 comes with 16 cores and 32 threads for serious computing power. The built-in Radeon 8060S graphics can run modern games at mid-range settings. You can fit this mighty machine in a small backpack and use less power than a desktop computer.

PELADN has not shared all the details about the YO1 Mini PC. The company will likely add WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connections. Pictures show USB4 C ports, among other connection options. The YO1 features a brand new case design compared to earlier PELADN products. The price remains unannounced, but similar computers with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip cost about $2000.
