Waiguru visits Ida Odinga in Karen

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru visited Ida Odinga to express condolences following the passing of her husband, Raila Odinga. Waiguru, accompanied by county officials and members of the Daughters of Kenya group, described the meeting as deeply emotional. She referred to the late leader as an extraordinary mentor and a cherished friend, stating that his wisdom and courage would be remembered. The governor also expressed appreciation for the warmth shown by Mama Ida during their meeting at her Karen home.
