What do you think are the main issues and music business challenges faced by upcoming Zimdancehall artists and Zim Hip Hop rappers?

From what I heard most Zimdanchall artists and Zim Hip Hop rappers often encounter issues such as:

• There are some Zim music promoters who are notorious for exploiting Zimdancehall artists.
• Due to tough times, Zimdancehall artists end up accepting horrible offers because they need the money to make ends meet
• Other Zim Hip Hop rappers don't receive as much corporate support to actually make a living while rapping.

Performing live and doing shows is basically still the main source of income in both Zimdancehall and Zim Hip Hop.

So as an artist if you are not in good books with local Zim music promoters you don't really eat that much.

Of course, that's true except for most Zimdancehall artists they can't even be heard on the radio unless they have connections.

Hence, if a Zimdancehall artist is struggling on the local market, they won't even make it on the regional music market let alone the international music industry scene.
