Why do most Zim slay queens have online fashion boutiques?

Out of all the possible business ventures that someone can do in this world, I have started noticing many Zim slay queens almost all of them, have an online fashion boutique. Is there a logical reason behind this trend of creating clothing websites?

Well, some Zim socialites are business-minded and some use the online fashion boutique as a front just in case they are asked how they manage to finance such an expensive lifestyle without having to talk about their blessers.

They are slay queens for a reason, so obviously running an online boutique fashion store is a vertical that is easier for them to set up. It doesn't require too much capital.

What about a scenario of blessers asking for a percentage ownership in online clothing boutiques. How do Zim slay queens deal with that?

By ditching the current blesser and proceeding to look for another blesser. In other situations, it's not unusual for blessers to have contracts that state how they will repossess all items they have bought or financed during the relationship. Of course, with an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) on top of that.

I doubt any Zim socialite with a head between her shoulders will agree to such a contract. There won't be any benefit if you have to return gifts and items the blesser has bought for you.

The world is never in short supply of desperate wannabe slay queens and blessers know this well. They use that to their advantage to make terms which don't cost them the most.

On the issue of photo-ops is it true most IG daiges will be putting on fashion they would have got for cheap from China clothing stores?

Yeah, I mean think about. How will the sheep know if the daige is wearing Mupedzanhamo stuff or the real deal? It's hard to tell just from the IG posts. The tricky part is only being in foreign locations. But that can be photo-shopped too.

*Some* do that but not all. So at the end of the day, anything on social media should be taken with a grain of salt.

True, cause social media is now the breeding ground of fake it till you make it. Worse still, the concept of people trying to compete with IG people they will never meet in their entire life.

On the contrary, the common counter-argument is: people should be free to express themselves offline and on social networks too. So what are your thoughts on that?

There are rules of acceptable forms of expression even on social media that's why people agree to terms and conditions when they create a social media profile. However, things like showing off, thirst trapping, clout chasing, etc are within the boundaries of acceptable behavior although in society it's a repugnant way of conduct.

Hi, this might be random but I am looking for advice on opening a clothing boutique.

Create an Instagram, Facebook page and Pinterest profile for your boutique first. Post pictures of the items you're anticipating to have in your store or hope to stock. Try to secure some pre-orders if possible. Are you considering a storefront or an online-only business model? BTW, marketing is crucial and can make or break your boutique enterprise. Also ensure you obtain a wholesale license, and also don't forget to Attend fashion trade shows to connect with as many vendors as possible and initiate orders.
