Zanu PF Boots Gutu East MP for Illegal Meetings and Criticism

The Zanu PF Politburo kicked out one lawmaker from Parliament and cleared another guy of all blame. Patrick Chinamasa, who handles legal stuff for the party, announced that Benjamin Ganyiwa lost his job as Gutu East representative. Ganyiwa broke party rules by trying to remove six district leaders, starting fights between groups, and holding meetings where folks criticized the President.

The party plans to boot him from Parliament completely, which means people must vote for someone new. Roy Bila, who represents Chiredzi North, walked away free from all charges against him. Calisto Bangu faces more problems, though—the National Disciplinary Committee will deal with claims he damaged the party's reputation. Leaders also approved throwing out Gifford Gomwe from Mashonaland West because he created a WhatsApp chat group that worked against party interests.

Kudakwashe Gopo from Masvingo Province also got the boot. Party leaders accused him of messing up official meetings and making another troublemaking chat group. Former Harare leader Kudakwashe Damson caught a three-year suspension after facing multiple charges. The party expelled Godwin Gomwe, a Harare district chairman, because he created divisions and broke rules. Edson Ringwa lost his membership for giving away land plots illegally in Chitungwiza, among other bad behaviors.

Victor Manungo also got kicked out for spreading lies and causing fights among members. Chinamasa explained that Manungo showed no loyalty through his social media posts, which led to his removal. Blessing Kambumu can keep his membership card but cannot hold any leadership position for three years because he secretly made a fake social media account and refused to follow orders. Spencer Mutero lost his place for running a social media group that fought against party goals.

Chinamasa said Mutero personally attacked the President on social media, breaking Section 549 rules. He spread false information deliberately to create problems inside the party. Local leaders suggested suspending him for three years, but top officials decided his actions deserved complete removal. Chinamasa stressed that these punishments show how seriously the party takes its rules. Former Harare women's group leader Ratidzo Mukarati, already suspended for causing divisions, got moved to a less important job.

Other members will hear about their punishment through their local party offices. All party members must behave properly according to party values. The leadership expects everyone to follow strict discipline standards that match what the organization stands for at its core.
