Zelda on PC Mods Leaves Switch 2 in the Dust

Nintendo plans to release Zelda: Breath of the Wild for their new Switch 2 console with better graphics. A recent YouTube video shows how amazing the game looks with ray tracing effects added through computer mods. These special lighting effects make the game appear almost realistic compared to its original cartoon style. The Switch 2 cannot display graphics this advanced, despite supporting some ray tracing features. Players who want the absolute best visuals must continue playing on computer emulators with custom upgrades.

Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will arrive on Switch 2 when the console launches on June 5. These upgraded versions support higher resolution displays and smoother frame rates for clearer movement. Nintendo adds HDR support to make colors appear more vivid on compatible screens. Players can create two save files instead of just one, as on previous systems. The games connect with a feature called Zelda Notes through the Nintendo Switch mobile app for extra features.
