The former Minister of Health of Zimbabwe Dr. David Parirenyatwa is said to have been arrested for criminal abuse of office and corruption charges. Recently the President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa reshuffled his cabinet and one of the surprising changes was the replacement of David Parirenyatwa with Obadiah Moyo some people were relieved by the change since Dr. David Parirenyatwa had been a Minister of Health for a very, very long time.

Some rumors are the Dr. David Parirenyatwa was part of G40 and wasn't siding with Emmerson Mnangagwa's Team Lacoste during ZANU-PF's faction disputes.

But Dr. David Parirenyatwa wasn't blatantly supporting G40 so how do people come up with insinuations that Dr. Parirenyatwa and Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa were Team G40?
