Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, Treasurer-General of the African National Congress, met with President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House in Harare. Following her private discussion with President Mnangagwa, Dr Ramokgopa described the meeting as positive and highlighted the strong historical ties between South Africa and Zimbabwe. She also reflected on Zimbabwe’s achievements in public health since independence, noting their influence on her own early career in medicine. Later, Dr Ramokgopa held further talks with ZANU PF Treasurer-General Patrick Chinamasa to continue discussions on economic and party collaboration.
