Are entertainers paid too much money?

Since there are hardworking people in healthcare (doctors & nurses), education (teachers), law enforcement (police & intelligence agencies), etc, that put their lives on the line every day shouldn't they in reality be paid more than actors, musicians, and the rest of the people in the entertainment business.

It takes a special type of humility and character to look after as well as to save protect and care for others you don’t know.

Personally I think entertainers are paid more than they should compared to doctors who save lives and teachers who educate the masses.

The issue of doctors and nurses being paid less than artists and actors is a government issue. As for the entertainment business, it sells tickets, merchandise, etc., so obviously they're going to make more money than teachers and police officers.

Another thing is people chose themselves professions where the company CEOs and board of directors make the big bucks while the ones that really put in the work make pennies compared to the ones that own the companies and organizations they work for. It's called freewill.

That's what's wrong with this world: a situation where you have entertainers and athletes getting paid more than surgeons, doctors, and teachers!
