ArenaNet announced three new elite specializations for Guild Wars 2's upcoming expansion Visions of Eternity. The Troubadour transforms Mesmer visual clones into sonic magic waves through musical instruments that damage enemies and support allies. Galeshot Rangers harness wind power and tengu marksmanship techniques to create special arrows while controlling battlefields with whirlwinds and tornadoes. Guardian Luminaries become flame-wreathed protectors wearing Radiant Shrouds and wielding four weapons of light and flame that provide passive bonuses. The remaining elite specializations will receive details in future announcements.
Players can test these specializations during beta access from August 20 through 27 before the October 28 expansion launch. Visions of Eternity adds four new zones with two available at release and two through free updates. The expansion features a fresh story set on Castora island alongside enhanced Skimmer mount functionality. Additional content encompasses two raid encounters, one Fractal dungeon, a public Convergence event, and various armor pieces, weapons, relics, and legendary items.
