Asante Kotoko Confident of Winning 2025-26 Ghana Premier League Title

Asante Kotoko Communications Director Sarfo Duku believes his team will capture the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League championship. The Porcupine Warriors ended last season third behind winners Bibiani GoldStars with a five-point gap. Kotoko claimed their 10th FA Cup trophy and earned a CAF Confederation Cup berth. The new campaign begins September with the club targeting young talent additions. Duku expects minor improvements from last year will deliver the league crown.

The club plans to combine domestic signings with international players for the upcoming season. Management seeks young athletes who show promise and might attract overseas attention later. Kotoko wants players with strong records and positive attitudes for their squad. The team believes these additions will create a winning combination. Duku thinks small performance gains will bring the title home.

African competition remains another priority for the Porcupine Warriors after their continental return. Kotoko has not reached CAF group stages for several years. The club aims to surpass their previous African campaigns this time. Officials hope the new signings will boost their continental chances. Francis Acquah, Hubert Gyau and Johnson Owusu Oppong have joined the roster already.
