Asante Kotoko Signs Experienced Defender Zackaria Fuseini on Three-Year Deal

Asante Kotoko completed the transfer of central defender Zackaria Fuseini from Berekum Chelsea. The experienced player signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors. Fuseini expressed his excitement about joining the club during his introduction. He views this move as the perfect opportunity to advance his professional career. The defender hopes to earn selection for Ghana's national team through strong performances.

Fuseini played 133 matches for Berekum Chelsea before making this transfer. The defender previously represented Ghana at the under-23 level with the Black Meteors. He gained international experience during a short period with San Fernando CD in Spain. Fuseini believes his maturity and experience will help him succeed at Kotoko. He feels ready to handle the demands that come with representing such a prominent club.

The defender becomes the fourth new addition to Kotoko's squad for the upcoming season. Francis Acquah, Joseph Owusu Oppong and Hubert Gyau also joined the team recently. Fuseini aims to help the club win championships during his time there. He dismissed suggestions that his move to Kotoko came later than expected. The player emphasized his readiness to contribute immediately to the team's success.
