The Bakau Development Committee, led by Alhagie Badara Y Jallow, gave the local health center a big helping hand last Thursday. They donated cleaning supplies worth over D40,000, including everything from detergents and disinfectants to hand sanitizers, mops, and buckets. Their donation aims to make the health center safer for both patients and medical staff by improving cleanliness throughout the facility.
The BDC already works hard on many community projects, such as fixing roads, cleaning up neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for young people. This health center support fits right into their bigger mission of making Bakau better through teamwork and resource sharing.
