BNP Secretary General Condemns Muradnagar Rape, Demands Punishment

BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir spoke against a sexual attack that happened in Muradnagar area of Cumilla district. He demanded severe punishment for the people who hurt a Hindu woman. The political figure said criminals who harm women cannot claim any political connection. Alamgir described the attackers as enemies of human society. He called the incident brutal and shameful.

The BNP secretary general accused certain groups of trying to use the crime for political gain. He said some people want to blame others for the attack instead of focusing on justice. Alamgir compared current events to past times when minorities faced persecution. He claimed that people still attack minority homes and then blame different groups. The political leader said these actions continue even after recent government changes.

Alamgir blamed the Awami League party for trying to damage relationships between different religious communities. He said former government supporters have money and resources to cause trouble. The BNP official accused these groups of planning secret campaigns to hurt his party's reputation. He claimed powerful forces protect the wrongdoers and encourage more violence. Alamgir asked all citizens to stand against criminals regardless of their religion or background.
