Dampare set the bar high for Ghana police

DSP Seth Danso of the Western Region MTTD praised former police boss Dr. George Akuffo Dampare for his big changes to Ghana police work. He shared his thoughts during a Friday chat on Eyewitness News at Citi FM. Danso mentioned he worked under many police chiefs and watched how they ran things. He believes that when Dampare came along, police work in Ghana really changed for the better.

The regional traffic chief explained that Dampare pushed the standards way higher than before. He called the former IGP different from all others who came before him. According to Danso, Dampare stands out completely when compared to previous leaders. He sees him as someone who went beyond what others did in the same job.

Dampare started leading the Ghana Police Service in 2021. He brought fresh ideas that changed how officers connect with regular people across communities. He also ensured that police followed stricter rules inside the force itself, helping shape a better police service.

Many people noticed how Dampare transformed the entire organization during his time as boss. His efforts to improve police work earned him lots of praise throughout Ghana. Danso clearly thinks nobody else who held the top police job made such a positive impact on law enforcement across the country.
