Dying Light The Beast patch nerfs grabby zombies

Techland released version 1.2.3 for Dying Light: The Beast on Tuesday to address performance problems and gameplay balance concerns. The patch resolves stuttering issues that occurred when players activated NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation during combat sequences. Developers reduced the effectiveness of zombie Biter grab attacks after community members complained about the mechanic's excessive difficulty.

The update fixes crashes that affected game stability and corrects visual problems with HDR display on PlayStation 5 consoles. Quest progression bugs received attention after players reported blocked advancement in The Mine co-op mission and Mental Asylum Safe Spot location. The patch restores the Join the Community button on console versions and prevents infinite music loops during certain missions.
