Modartt just came out with version 2.1 of Organteq, their digital
pipe organ software. This new update adds many cool features and tweaks that make it easier to use, sound better, and give you more ways to create music.
Organ features and updates
A new "Tag" feature makes it simpler to look through presets, letting users quickly find the best sound for their music from various built-in tags. Users can also make and customize their tags to fully manage their presets. Seven new stops, including a full set of Romantic Principals, have been added to the stop library, and the French Romantic presets have been improved for a more genuine sound. These enhancements help organists better refine and personalize their organ's tonal qualities, giving them more creative options. The organ library now includes 14 new organs with different looks, from early baroque to modern. These well-made instruments give users a wider range of styles and sounds to try for a richer musical experience.

Version 2.1.0 brings a range of improvements and new features. Fourteen historical and modern organs have been added, with refreshed sounds for French Romantic organs and seven new stops. Some organ presets now have clearer names, including dates, to help identify them easily. Two new tuning options, Cavaille-Coll 1/9 and 1/10 comma, are available, and certain buttons on the main console now have names that make them easier to use. The new "tag" feature lets you filter presets with five built-in tags, while some parameter sliders now snap to specific values for easier adjustments.
MIDI demos embedded in presets can be loaded and played directly in the app's MIDI player. A checkbox has been added so MacOS users can automatically select the default audio device. Various bugs and crashes have been fixed, and black keys are now highlighted more visibly when played.
