Joel Luphahla eyes more wins as Simba Bhora lead title chase after Dynamos victory

Simba Bhora extended their championship lead to three points after defeating Dynamos through Junior Makunike's late goal on Saturday. Coach Joel Luphahla faces a challenging test when his team visits TelOne at Bata Stadium tomorrow. The hosts have maintained an impressive seven-match unbeaten streak that concerns the former Zimbabwe international. MWOS suffered their second consecutive defeat against FC Platinum, losing 2-0 at Ngoni Stadium. This result provided breathing room for the defending champions at the summit.

Luphahla acknowledges the mounting pressure that accompanies the top position with 13 matches remaining. His squad has compiled an impressive record of 12 victories, seven draws, and two losses from 21 fixtures. The team leads the division with 27 goals scored across the campaign. Scottland reduced their deficit to six points after beating Highlanders while securing additional points from their abandoned Chicken Inn match. TelOne maintains fourth place following their goalless draw against CAPS United during weekend action.
