Kagame spits on sanctions and slams Tshisekedi as fraud

Rwanda's leader Paul Kagame says he will not back down when other countries tell him what to do. He wants to protect Rwanda first, even if big countries like America and those in Europe want to punish him.

These countries are angry because they think Rwanda helps fighters called M23 in a nearby country named Congo. They want to stop giving Rwanda money and help until Rwanda changes what it does. But Kagame says he needs to keep his country safe.

Kagame talked about hard times Rwanda went through long ago. He told a story about a brave old woman who stood up to bad people during a very sad time in 1994. He says this shows how Rwanda stays strong when others try to make them afraid.

Kagame also said mean things about Congo's leader, Felix Tshisekedi. He claimed Tshisekedi did not win his elections fairly. Tshisekedi wants other countries to stop Rwanda from helping the M23 fighters in his country.

The countries in Europe want Rwanda to let people bring food and medicine to places where fighting happens. They also want Rwanda to stop helping the M23 fighters. Britain, which gives lots of money to Rwanda, might stop helping them. David Lammy, an important person in Britain, says countries should not mess with other countries' land.

Kagame shows he will keep fighting back against what these big countries want. He believes protecting Rwanda comes before making other countries happy.
