Kenya thunders at DRC peace flop, Mudavadi drags Rwanda and Qatar

Kenya's Foreign Minister Musalia Mudavadi wants everyone to keep working on peace talks for the Democratic Republic of Congo. He praised regional groups and world partners who help make peace happen. The East African Community and Southern African Development Community joined forces to make the Nairobi and Luanda peace talks work better together. Kenya tells all sides they must stick to the deals they made during these peace efforts. The African Union says these peace moves are major steps toward making the region safer.

Problems have lasted for decades across Eastern Congo and they remain tough to solve. Kenya says everyone must keep talking and working together to fix the fighting for good. The African Union helped merge the two peace processes to make them work better as one team. More helpers joined the peace talks to bring fresh ideas and skills to handle Congo's difficult situation. This teamwork approach helps Congo's people and stops the conflict from becoming another forgotten African war.

Qatar played a key role helping Congo, Rwanda and the M23 group find peace solutions. The Emir of Qatar hosted an important meeting between Congo's President Tshisekedi and Rwanda's President Kagame during March 2025. America also helped create an agreement between Congo and Rwanda that promises to stop fighting and respect borders. The deal aims to bring refugees home safely and boost trade between countries. Kenya wants America and Qatar to keep supporting the combined peace process because their help remains vital for lasting stability.
