Kwara State Polytechnic Earns Full NBTE Accreditation, New Programs Approved

Kwara State Polytechnic scored a major win when education officials gave their stamp of approval to every single program the school offered. The National Board for Technical Education visited the campus and liked what they saw during their inspection tour. Officials decided to give the green light to brand new courses that students can start taking next year. The move means thousands more young people will have fresh opportunities to learn valuable skills.

Education boss Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar put her signature on the official papers that made everything official. Her team approved exciting new diploma courses like Medical Imaging and Health Information Management for students who want to work in hospitals. Chemical Engineering Technology and Law also made the cut for ambitious learners. The board members were impressed with how the school leadership planned courses that match what employers actually need.

The polytechnic also landed approval for advanced diploma programs that take learning to the next level. Students can soon study Agribusiness Technology and Crop Production Technology if they want to work in farming. Media lovers can pick Journalism and Media Studies or Tourism Management Technology. Future engineers have new options like Mechatronics Engineering and Urban Planning to choose from.

School head Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed thanked the visiting team for their helpful suggestions and promised to keep standards high. Teachers at the polytechnic said the news would spark new ideas for better classroom methods. They believe the approval will help technical education grow stronger across Nigeria and give more students practical skills for good jobs.
