A killer walked into court and admitted he murdered a top political leader back in 2017. Sibusiso Ncengwa shot dead Sindiso Magaqa from the ANC Youth League during a brutal attack. The gunman also tried to kill three other people who were with Magaqa that day. Judge Nontuthuzelo Mlaba slammed Ncengwa with a 25-year prison sentence at Pietermaritzburg High Court. The judge said Ncengwa showed no respect for human life when he agreed to carry out the deadly plot.
Magaqa was driving through the uMzimkhulu area when Ncengwa opened fire on his car. Two women named Jabulile Msiya and Nonsikelelo Mafa were sitting with the political leader during the shooting.
