More than 100 participants gathered at Koltai Jeno Sportkozpont in Budapest for the Viksit Bharat Run. The Indian Embassy and MY Bharat organized the five-kilometer event under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Runners from the Indian diaspora, local communities, students, and professionals joined the initiative on Tuesday.
The event marked part of Seva Parv observances from Sept. 17 to Oct. 2. Participants recited the Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat Pledge during the gathering. The pledge commits supporters to help India become a developed nation by 2047. More than 150 international locations hosted similar events worldwide under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for transformation.
