Myanmar's top diplomat held back-to-back meetings with Chinese and Thai officials at the Foreign Ministry building in Nay Pyi Taw. He met with China's Assistant Minister of Public Security and Thailand's Foreign Ministry adviser. Both sessions focused on strengthening ties between neighboring countries.

The two sides want to work together against online gambling rings and phone scams that operate near their shared border. They also discussed the special friendship between China and Myanmar known as Pauk-Phaw relations. The officials talked about bringing Thailand into their security partnership. They agreed that all three countries should team up to keep their borders safe and peaceful.
