Malawian-American Artist Nepman Releases Gospel EP "It Takes Time."
Popular artist Nepman has released his first gospel EP, marking a departure from his secular music background. The new release, "It Takes Time," features spiritual songs instead of his previous explicit content.
Nepman built his fanbase through hits like "Chilawe Changachi," "Na Lero," and "Magobo," which resonated with adult audiences. His music has served as a unifying force among listeners.
Speaking via telephone, the creator of "N'gona za M'mabango" explained that divine guidance inspired his shift toward gospel music. "I faced many challenges that nearly made me quit music," he said. "I persevered without understanding why, but I later recognized God's role in my determination."
The seven-track EP emerged from a collaboration between Malawian and South African producers DJ Megi, DJ Twiggy, and Robert Nero. The collection includes spiritual songs such as "Ndiziyamika," "I Sing to You," and "Hossana."
Fans can purchase the EP exclusively through Malawi-music.com, the country's premier music platform, for MK 2,000.
