The town of Okahandja stopped its tourism expo after locals wanted time to grieve for Rosalind Fabian. Officials planned this fair from April 29 to May 3 at the sports stadium, but postponed it with no new date. Fabian disappeared on Thursday after arriving at KW Von Marees Combined School. Search teams found her body Friday afternoon at Veddersdal graveyard. Resident Shatty Haihambo said holding festivals seemed wrong when families mourned. He pointed out another child named Ingrid Maasdorp from the same school died just last month.
