Olinda Chapel eats crow after cyberbullying Stunner’s ex

A UK businesswoman just got hit with cyberbullying charges in Zimbabwe after a nasty Facebook Live rant. Olinda Chapel appeared in a Harare court, facing accusations over a video where she screamed insults at Dyonne Tafirenyika, the ex-wife of musician Stunner, and allegedly threatened her. Magistrate Ruth Moyo released Chapel on a hundred-dollar bail without requiring a plea.

Chapel issued a sweeping public apology, admitting her actions were completely wrong. She confessed to using demeaning language and spreading false information that damaged Tafirenyika's reputation. The apology specifically highlighted what she called an unforgivable boundary: involving Tafirenyika's child. Chapel admitted to trying to interfere with their relationship, even attempting to control the child's social media presence and suggesting the child be kept away.

She acknowledged posting content without consent and failing to consider the emotional damage caused to the family. Her statement took full responsibility for the harm, stressing the conflict was never about a man and apologizing to the other individuals she mentioned. Chapel concluded by recognizing an apology cannot undo the harm, and that forgiveness may not follow.
