Reikon declares Metal Eden fixed, targets September 2 release

Reikon Games and publisher Deep Silver confirmed Metal Eden will launch September 2, 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The sci-fi action first-person shooter experienced delays after its original May 6, 2025 release target. Publishers made a demonstration version available to players approximately one month before the initial launch date. Developer feedback from the demo prompted the postponement to allow for improvements based on player responses. The studio identified specific areas requiring enhancement after analyzing community reactions.

The development team shifted the release window to summer 2025 following the delay announcement. Reikon Games expressed confidence that player concerns have been addressed through recent development work. The demonstration appeared during Steam Next Fest events where it gained positive reception from participants. Reviewers compared the gameplay experience to Ghostrunner while noting Metal Eden emphasizes ranged combat over melee mechanics. The fast-paced action elements distinguished the title among numerous available demonstrations during the festival period.
