Talent Moyo from Bulawayo got hit with four months behind bars after getting caught stealing 150 bucks from some woman he allegedly hugged and pickpocketed near a shop intersection. The magistrate gave him a choice between jail time or paying a 200-dollar fine, plus another three months hanging over his head if he pulls similar stuff within five years.
The whole thing went down when Moyo spotted Value Chivenge and apparently got real touchy before running off with her cash. She tried chasing him but failed, and cops eventually tracked him down after she reported it. Moyo swore he only hugged her and denied taking anything, but the court called his defense fake and convicted him based on witness testimony that lined up perfectly.
This is actually his second legal mess since he's also waiting to face court for allegedly swiping 48 dollars from someone's parked car.
