The BNP says their acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, will get himself on the voter list this week. A party delegation met with election officials in Dhaka to discuss it. Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed stated the registration would happen on the 27th, a Saturday when commission offices are open.
Rahman is scheduled to fly back from London before that, ending a long exile. His planned return flight is on Biman Bangladesh Airlines, arriving at the capital's airport on the morning of the 25th.
