Country Manager Anne-Lucie Lefebvre noted Haitian infrastructure faces substantial threats from natural disasters including hurricanes, flooding and landslides that regularly isolate communities and increase security risks, particularly affecting women's mobility. The program will rehabilitate critical structures such as La Digue, Côte-de-Fer and Mahot bridges while upgrading 100 kilometers of rural roadways in vulnerable departments like Nippes, Grand'Anse and Sud-est.
