A group of more than 40 people from Zimbabwe got stuck in Sierra Leone. Bad people tricked them into going there. These people promised them good jobs, but it turned out to be false.
The trapped people went to Freetown, the main city of Sierra Leone. They found themselves in big trouble there. Seven people made it back home to Zimbabwe last week. Four more people should have come back yesterday, but they did not arrive.
A person who works for the Zimbabwe government talked about this problem. This person did not want anyone to know their name. They said that police are trying to help free the trapped people. The police have not caught the bad people yet, but they are looking for them.
The news team at The Herald went to watch for the four people at the airport. But the people who work at Social Welfare told them to stop writing about it. They said it was important to keep the trapped people safe. They explained that the law protects people who get tricked like this.
Mr Simon Masanga, an important person in the Zimbabwe government, went to the airport too. He said no one came that day. He also said a kind person is paying to bring these people home. The government wants to help bring back everyone who got trapped.
The police are working hard to catch the bad people who tricked everyone. Mr Paul Nyathi from the police said they know about these tricks. He said they have caught some of the bad people already and will catch more soon.
