APC chieftain mocks Obi’s ADC move as koboless crew

An APC bigwig just tossed some serious shade at a former rival's new party move. Joe Igbokwe mocked Peter Obi's formal switch to the African Democratic Congress, claiming the politician and his allies lack the power to challenge President Bola Tinubu. Posting on social media, Igbokwe dismissed the group surrounding Obi as politically insignificant, stating some could not even win their own local polling units.

He labeled them as lacking resources, electoral value, and the skill to build coalitions or invest in people. Igbokwe warned against underestimating Tinubu, whom he claimed to know well, boldly predicting the President's hold on power until 2031. The rant frames the defection as a non-threat from a faction he views as unserious and disconnected from real political groundwork.
