Atomic Heart Smashes 10M Players with Powerhouse Push

Mundfish reported that Atomic Heart reached 10 million players after launching in February 2023. The first-person shooter game appeared on Game Pass which helped many people find it. Company head Robert Bagratuni said the team worked hard to make something special. Players supported the game and made it successful beyond expectations. The developer felt grateful for all the enthusiasm from fans.

Critics and players liked Atomic Heart when it came out. One review gave the game a score of 7.5 out of 10 points. The reviewer said Mundfish created a solid debut that looked great and ran well. The story needed more work and side content felt lacking. The game followed similar ideas from BioShock and delivered fun shooting action.

Three paid expansions came out after the main game launched. Annihilation Instinct was the first downloadable content released. Trapped in Limbo and Enchantment Under the Sea followed later. A fourth expansion remains under development without a release date. Mundfish continues working on new content for players.

The studio also started Mundfish Powerhouse to help other game makers. This new creative label will support developers bringing interesting projects to market. Bagratuni said many studios and investors asked for their help. The company wants to partner with games that can make noise and set new standards. They plan to focus on bold projects rather than small indie games.
