Police Seize Marijuana Plants at Zimbabwe Farm Plot.
Police have arrested a 55-year-old man after finding marijuana plants growing in his garden in Mvuma, Zimbabwe.
Officers detained Greenwell Jenwa at his Blinkwater farm plot on January 29. The arrest came after locals told police about marijuana growing on his property.
Midlands police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said police found and removed 17 plants, each about two meters tall. The team caught Jenwa along the Gweru-Mvuma Road at 1 p.m.
Officers took the plants to Mvuma Police Station as evidence. Officials have not yet determined the street value of the seized marijuana.
Jenwa remains in custody and will face trial in court, Mahoko said.
