Simbisa to Open 31 New Stores by 2025

Simbisa Brands Limited plans to open 31 new stores by the end of the 2025 financial year. The company wants to reach more customers by making its business bigger.

The food company also plans to fix up 44 of its existing stores to make them better for customers. Last year, up to September 2024, Simbisa grew bigger by adding 47 new places to eat, bringing their total stores to 330.

The company spent money to make Pizza Inn better and created new food items for all their restaurant brands. They also started offering better deals and more special offers to bring in more customers.

Mr Basil Dioniso, the company's top leader, shared good news about their business. In the first part of the 2025 financial year, Simbisa's money from sales grew by four percent compared to last year. They served 12.1 million customers, which was 12 percent more than before.

But Simbisa faced some hard times too. Their power costs doubled because electricity prices went up by 54 percent. Power cuts made it hard to keep their restaurants running well. Rising prices also made it harder for them to make money, even though they tried to keep their costs down.

Even with these problems, Simbisa kept growing by opening new stores and making more money than before.
