general Stunner has something to say about branding and Zim Hip Hop

Recently Stunner (Desmond Chideme) had time to share his thoughts about upcoming Zim hip-hop artists and he basically wrote:

"I'm sorry guys but being a really good artist kumba kwenyu or ku studio kwenyu when noone else knows you is not good enuf especially when the guy u call whack is the one getting the fan love ,money , the works , the shows and the life. If nobody knows u, u ain't shit!!

It seems Stunner wants new Zim hip-hop rappers to understand the value of having an instantly recognizable brand but one person interjected to Stunner's opinion by saying:

"U were dope stunner back in your days , rango zita. Usazvi tutumumadza"

And that translates into saying Stunner has lost his clout in the Zim rap music industry and is no longer as hot as he used to be but rather people just know Stunner for his name being attached to either Dyonne Tafirenyika or Olinda Chapel.

There have been debates that Takura is actually a better Zim Hip Hop artist than Stunner and obviously without being biased Takura has been releasing great material, especially his new studio album Someone Had To Do It is dope.

Desmond hasn't released a full-length album as of late. It's also perhaps safe to say his brand has been mildly affected by issues he had with Olinda Chapel and people have been more interested in that whole drama without primarily focusing on his music. Nevertheless, Stunner is currently drama free with Dyonne Tafirenyika as far as the issue of relationships and dating is concerned.
