Tourists flocked to Victoria Falls Rainforest early this year. Between January and March, the number of visitors grew to 61,139, up from 59,718 during the same months last year. Foreign travelers made up most of the increase, with international guests rising from 44,110 to 47,633. The KAZA visa program made crossing between Zimbabwe and Zambia easier for people wanting to see both sides of the waterfall. South Africa sent the most regional visitors, followed closely by Botswana. Local Zimbabwe tourism dropped from 15,608 to 13,506 compared to last year.
