general What is the difference between zimdancehall and dancehall music?

So what is the essential difference between "Zimdancehall" and "dancehall music?"

Why not just use the name dancehall music instead? Wouldn't that be great for marketing purposes.

The difference lies in the language used but the same elements of dancehall music being a sub-genre of reggae music are pretty much the same. The term "zimdancehall" is mainly used for marketing purposes so I don't see the need for it other than that.

I have no idea about that but it most likely came from the ghettos in Zimbabwe since that's where the huge fan-base for Zimdancehall lies.
