Brikama Market Gets Clean-Up.
Kaddy Samateh Entertainment and Brikama Area Council (BAC) started cleaning the Brikama market on Tuesday. They want to make it a better place to buy and sell things.
Cherno Jallow from BAC said it is important to work together to keep the market clean. He said a clean place helps people stay healthy. This helps the whole country do well.
Mr. Jallow said BAC will do its part to take away waste from the market. They will send trucks to help. But he is glad KS Entertainment is also helping. The government cannot fix this alone.
Kaddy Samateh from KS Entertainment said the clean-up will let sellers work without worrying about getting sick. She asked the sellers to use the trash bins and not throw waste on the ground.
Isatou Ceesay was there to help clean. She said the council needs to have more people working to keep the market clean. Then it will stay clean. She wants the council to keep telling people how to keep things clean.
