Killihu recently launched a new tool called Capture Audio for Ableton Live. This handy feature lets you easily capture audio and add it directly to your project with just one click. It works like the existing Capture MIDI feature but is designed for audio inputs.

Overview of Capture Audio for Ableton Live

Killihu's new tool, Capture Audio for Ableton Live, makes recording audio a breeze. You can record sounds from up to 16 sources at once, like mics or tracks in your project, and it saves everything automatically, either in a special folder or right in your project. You can drop these recordings into your session as clips or into your arrangement. It clears its memory every time you hit play, just like the MIDI capture. Plus, you can name your audio files however you like, and a simpler version fits right into a single track's effects setup.
