Just think how great your favorite music production software could be if it was improved. That's the reality for users of RapidComposer, thanks to MusicDevelopments. They've rolled out version 5.2.1, an update that brings with it a smoother workflow and improved usability. And if you've been grappling with glitches, breathe easy. They've also squashed two pesky bugs in this update.

Changes made to RapidComposer

You can now use 7-bit CC LSB values ranging from 32 to 63. If you feel like you need more breathing room between tracks, go ahead and increase that space up to a max of 16 pixels under Settings > User Interface > Track separator height. Oh, and guess what? The MIDI CC function generator can now handle frequencies up to 8.0 cycles per quarter note. Plus, when you drag phrases onto percussion tracks, they won't mess with the pitch anymore. No more weird black parts popping up when you open inspectors in separate windows—they've fixed that. And hey, they've also sorted out the issue with the empty chord palette. All set to rock and roll!
