Two Indonesians Killed, 16 Injured in Johor Bus Collision

Two people lost their lives and sixteen others suffered injuries when a tour bus crashed with two trucks on a major highway near Ayer Hitam. The deadly smash happened just past midnight at the 80.7 kilometer mark of the North-South Expressway heading south. Fire crews rushed to the scene after getting an emergency call at 12.44 in the morning. The victims were Indonesian men named Hidirman and Zulhadi who were 43 and 44 years old. Both men got trapped inside the wreckage and died right there.

Seven rescue workers from two different fire stations raced to help after the alarm went off. They found three vehicles had collided - a tour bus carrying passengers, a tow truck, and a big tanker truck. The bus driver was among those who got hurt and needed medical care. Emergency teams worked hard to free people from the twisted metal and broken glass. Paramedics treated the wounded before rushing them to nearby hospitals.

The crash left 28 people without any injuries at all. Fire officials said their rescue mission took over two hours to complete. Workers finally wrapped up all their emergency work at three minutes past three in the morning. The highway accident created a major scene with multiple emergency vehicles and flashing lights. Rescue teams had to use special equipment to reach the trapped victims inside the damaged bus.
