Why is Zim Hip Hop and Zimdancehall music male-dominated?

How come both Zim Hip Hop and Zimdancehall are still male-dominated genres even though progressive movements such as women empowerment have gave women confidence to do just about anything that women back in the day would be frowned upon?

There are a couple of reasons why Zimdancehall and Zim Hip Hop are male-dominated genres and let's go through them:

1) Some Zim Hip Hop lyrics are heavily misogynistic and they present a strong prejudice against women in general. This can affect the self-esteem of new female Zim Hip Hop artists who may want to make their way into the industry.

2) There aren't too many female Zim Hip Hop producers and this leads to exploitation of new and upcoming female Zim Hip Hop rappers because the established male producers may want to sexually take advantage of those female Zim Hip Hop artists i.e sexual harassment etc.

3) Zimdancehall has more female acts than Zim Hip Hop. So Zimdancehall has managed to accommodate female artists, unlike Zim Hip Hop. This is because Zimdancehall isn't as snobbish as Zim Hip Hop.

4) Zim Hip Hop is mainly centered around a superficial image such as portraying a socially superior lifestyle. As a result, it's much more costly for female artists to stand out than it is for male Zim Hip Hop artists to generate that image. Remember female acts will incur more expenses from hair, wardrobe, makeup, etc.

5) Zimdancehall embraces the ghetto lifestyle so that means female artists don't have to worry much about being over-the-top with their image.
