If you are talking in terms of violent lyrics then what will you say about Hollywood violent films? Because I don't see the difference.

The thing is: parents should filter what type of music their child listens to.

Many Hip Hop artists don't really make music for kids, and even if kids end up listening to it they're not the target audience.

And if kids are listening to Hip Hop artists who talk about killing and gang violence, it's not the rappers' fault, but the PARENTS' fault.

In addition that's why there is always that parental advisory sticker on most Hip Hop albums.
