Pro Tools users who use on Mac, what's your guys' opinion on the Apple MacBooks? Are the ARM-based system M3 chips fantastic? What spec recommendations for recording and mixing?
I'm on an M1 Ultra chip for mostly mixing. Whatever I throw at it, the Mac handles it without breaking a sweat. Even the heaviest reverbs and multiband processors don't strain it at all. So far the heaviest mix has hit 12% of the capability.

I switched everything over to a MacBook M2 and it's amazing. Flawless Pro Tools usage and I'm easily running large sessions with several virtual instruments at 128 buffer without ever having to change anything.
